About the scene between Sam and Bucky, where Bucky apologizes for not considering the black experience, while I didn't completely agree with it, the point of the show was that after 400+ years of discrimination ( as Isaih said), to suddenly accept and acknowledge a Black Cap was ironic and hypocritical of 'American system', which is also part of Sam's experience as it is Bradley's. and so Buckey is feeling apologetic about that. Again, I agree with Jaby that Bucky's initial response of "so what if we have Black Cap, Steve chose you" was appropriate but of course the show wants to tie the Tuskegee experiments (which is what the show is referencing with Isaih, which WW2 Black veterans faced) as part of Sam's experience.
