Jaby predicted the climax out of nowhere. Literally out of nowhere. Who would have picked up that scene as an indicator?

In my opinion, I feel like the violence is gratuitous at times. I appreciate the creators are trying to demonstrate the reality of organized crime but it still makes me feel a bit squeamish! Nontheless, I especially like how they are building Bablu's character. Whilst Guddhu is shown to lose his morality through more and more senseless violence, Bablu is actually the more destructive. He orchestrated the new gun distribution system, introduced the idea of giving guns for free to full-time criminals so as to increase the demand for guns (for protection) and even suggested using women / children for production. If history has taught us anything, intelligence applied to evil can create truly terrifying systems!

Hi Jaby & Achara, I am enjoying watching Mirzapur Series with you. Just FYI (in case you have not figured it out yet) "Kaaleen" means "Carpet" that's why Akhandanand Tripathi is called "Kaaleen Bhaiya" since he has Carpet manufacturing Business.

Sara dekh liya hua hai unhone. Aur yaha pe bhi apane koi pehli baar dekhne nahi aae hai... so we don't need to worry about discussing climax :P

IN almost every episode, you talk about the amount and intensity of violence and the disregard of human life. I think I must try to make you understand in the best way i can. UP or Uttar Pradesh is the center of India, and also one of the most populous states, that is where this town Mirzapur is. With a huge population density, it is filled, overflowed with people trying not to starve and live a life, no matter how destitute it is. There are just so many people living in so so many districts, cities, towns, villages across the state whose need to live and survive is much much more than a human life, at least for them. The politics in that state, the caste system, the communal violence rate , all of them are very high. People kill for a hundred rupees, with these kattas just so they can eat and earn the food for their family for that day. There is more or less the same amount of violence in UP as is shown in the show.

Also that is the difference between these independent shows or movies and Bollywood. These show what this country, our India really is deep inside, how we were pushed into poverty after colonial rule and then independence, and how that same poverty has pushed us deeper into violence and disregard for a life. That is the truth. Though it is not the same everywhere and things are changing, there are a number of good things, great things about this nation but sadly, we still have a long long way to go.

Yeah. I started noticing that they called the carpets Kaaleen and then they also called him Kaaleen Bhaiya. I guess you could just call Jaby Reaction Bhaiya 😝

jaby u also need to understand this is a small town story in a state. where behaviour of normal people, the gangsters and the police is diffrent which you might not get or understand. the life in a small town is diffrent from a city in india.

Rohit Shetty

Achara's always one step ahead of the show lol
