Unrelated, but if you haven't watched Maari 1 yet, maybe consider reaction for the songs Maari Thara Local and especially Don'u Don'u Don'u. This was originally a Punjabi song released by Jack Knight (A Pakistani Punjabi) and Jasmine Sandlas (an Indian Punjabi) born and brought up in the UK. Hence the western influence in music. This was reused as an item number in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The video is nonsense. The song was lit back when it was released in the Punjabi music circuits in India and Pakistan(The song itself is relatively older and was rehashed for this movie).

Could you guys please react to main yahan hoon-veer zaara, when you have time? it's one of srk's movies that made the girls gush over him. you see why he was called the king of romance at one point. plus I think that's the first movie I probably cried to after the Lion King when I was a kid so it has a really special place in my heart.

The song was heavily western. I like that Jaby doesn't hesitate to say the hyper sexualization bothers him. I don't like that too much either. It can be sexy or just vulgar, and I think this video slightly crosses the line into vulgar territory. I also have that issue with western dance/pop songs. Many videos or songs are just WTF to me (Ariana Grande's Side to Side comes to mind...). That being said, I really love this tune, it sounds great! Can't deny that. I just ignore the video 😄 Again I agree on western influences, I don't like seeing too much of that, but as some above explained this song has a special background. Finally big LOL at the reputation French people have abroad 🙈😂
