Plans for the next update (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

With 0.54 completed and nearly out for everyone, it's time to start planning out 0.55!

This update will shift focus from new content to new features. There will still be some content, but the main part of the update will be a new feature, as voted for by you!

There will be a few options on the poll. These are all things I hope to add at some point, but I'll be asking "Freshers" and up what they'd like to see first.

(This is all subject to my technical abilities matching up of course!)

The options are:

• Expanded replay gallery

This will add new sections to the replay gallery for side characters and parties, allowing you to replay those sections with your current stats, to view what you might have missed!

• Texting system

This will add a new section on the in-game phone allowing you to text other characters. This means you can chat with them even if you can't get to where they are, or if you just want a different type of conversation. For starters I'll focus on just the main characters, but if it all goes well I hope to add texting side characters too, if not straight away then in a future update.

• Improved UI

This choice will focus on improving the user interface for a smoother player experience. The main focus will be the help guide, which will be expanded and imporved upon, allowing for more detailed hints and a better objective system.

• Optional minigames

This will add optional minigames to the library and cafe jobs. Each minigame will be fairly short, and will earn more money than any other job. If you don't want to play the game, you can skip it for a reduced payment.

• Polish and optimisation

This choice will see me going back to earlier content to improve quality, such as better animations. I'll also add more dialogue variants to the early scenes, in case the player doesn't see them until later in the playthrough. In addition, I'll cleanup some unnecessary animaitions and images to reduce the file size a little.
