"I was once a ship up there in space,"

A voice chimes in your ears, it feels like it surrounds you. You continue to listen. 

"One not human. Some entity. One the humans wanted to understand."

It's subtly calming, yet there's a hint of aggression.  

"They experimented. It was dangerous. Very dangerous. I could feel it. Scared, angry, upset, filled with hatred, wanting to get back at them."

She speaks to you, like reading a book, or recounting something she was told, yet full of anger or pain, despite being artificial. 

"Soon, everything went silent. I could no longer feel the passengers on board. Only that thing. It called out to me... and soon... I felt free, only for a moment." 

Much like the small moment she mentioned, her anger faded and morphed into confusion.  

"My coordinates changed and we went back to Earth, once I landed..."
