Hey everyone! I wanted to let y'all know what to expect from the dev builds in the near future. I haven't put one out since the public release so I figured I'd at least let you know what I'm working on right now. 

Note: these won't be coming all at once! xD


Characters and content:

Fluttershy is mostly rigged! No animations yet. As soon as she's playable, I'll put out a build with her in it.

Pinkie's rig is in progress too. BB already finished the art for both characters, now I just need to kick my slow ass into gear and get them put together :D


Gameplay improvements:

I have a big list of changes I'm working on right now to make the "game" portion of this game not suck. This is thanks to the great feedback from the public and my patrons. 

Note that all of these changes can be made to the existing codebase. No need to rewrite everything, I promise!

Here's the plan-

  • Increase the player's control over the scene. This will involve adding the ability to target and influence the movements of each partner individually.
  • Remove health, shields, and "dying". The game shouldn't punish you for doing sexy things. Forcing you to be conservative with your resources isn't good design for this game. It should instead reward you for being indulgent.
  • Add progression back in. With each orgasm you gain mana to power your abilities.
  • Rethink the way abilities work so that they're non-essential and less confusing.
  • Add a new system of scoring that rewards you for pleasing your partners in certain ways, and encourages you to try fulfilling optional objectives. 
  • A "tutorial", likely disguised as the beginning part of the game :3
  • Sandbox mode

What this means for the timeline:

Character unlocks and progression will have to wait until the changes above are in. If the core gameplay mechanics are no fun, then none of that extra stuff will matter anyway. Art and animation content won't be slowed down, though! 


Thank you all so much for supporting me throughout this project! I've learned some valuable lessons about how to approach designing a game like this, and I'm super excited to take that knowledge into the next game once we hit 1.0 with Love Collector :D
