I love that the show has just started and there seems to already be a ship name for every combination of characters. Which crack ship is Vaggie/Alastor? (yes I know he's ace/aro and she's a lesbian) I've seen the theory that Vaggie is a fallen angel too, and I'm onboard with it. But the devil's in the details (pun intended). Exterminators have horns like imps, and their right eye is X-ed out. Vaggie does not have horns, and her left eye is X-ed out. Then again, Charlie's horns are hidden most of the time, but come out when she's angry, and her does kind of look like wings... The detail that Adam is eating ribs. There's... so much wrong with that. The extermination being moved up certainly raises the stakes right out of the gate. Hopefully the series takes its time, though, focusing on the characters and relationships instead of the plot. Nifffty, Nifffty definitely killed the angel, because it was making a mess.

my suspicion with vaggie is that her "sin" is quite literally just being a lesbian. There would be something truly disturbing about her backstory being...nothing at all, she has no dark secrets, she's not an angel or demon, she was just a good person railroaded by divine bigotry. That the show will call out just how absurd going to hell for who you love is (and how that might result in a hell that's just...overflowing with really nice lgbtq folks, a hell that's nicer than the heaven that condemned them, a hell worth defending from heaven rather than trying to escape from.) There would be something kind of romantic about Charlie going to war with heaven over Vaggie, and I could see the angels demanding something like conversion therapy to "redeem" vaggie as a spark to start that war.

If that's true, it might mean that there are other fallen angels in Hell, too. No way is Vaggie the only queer angel to exist since the Beginning. Unless all of her Sapphic sisters are still in the closet up in Heaven...

If you weren't aware Mosco, the creator has said the pilot is canon, when the characters talk about "last week" in regards to Alastor showing up (and something else in episode 2) they are referring to the old pilot.

This version and the pilot are the same version. It's Canon that this takes place a week after the pilot. Also, It's pretty ironic that Adam's favorite food is ribs and Eve was created from one of his ribs. And I wonder If Adam sees Lilith in Charlie when she's speaking to him. Wonder If that may be part of the reason why he seems so salty about all this. I know he's just naturally an a-hole. But It's possible that he's particularly cruel to Charlie because she reminds him of his ex, who ditched him when he was literally the only man avaliable in Eden. And who can blame her.

Well Adam is....literally Andrew Tate ok. I mean calle me dick master lol. Nice to see her bring back both Brandon and Alex from helluva boss. In terms of voice actors of note for me Husk's voice is freaking Captain Anderson from the Mass Effect games. Love the songs so far. Th new VA's took some getting used to but they grew on me.

Lilith makes it into the Christian bible once, in the Book of Isiah until the King James Version, she’s in Jewish folklore and texts as Adam’s first wife, and it’s a very old word and name that’s in the Epic of Gilgamesh from 2600 years ago, a lot of demonology stuff like Stolas’s name is from only 400 years ago, Lilith’s been around a long time
