Another stop motion movie I really like that I don't think is so well known is Kubo and the Two Strings. I recommend it highly.

I don't want to say too much about Kubo and the Two Strings. I went into it blind myself, which is the best way to see it. It was produced by Laika, who also produced Coraline. The stop animation is mind boggling. It's a fantasy story set in feudal japan. That's all I'd want to say.

Fun Fact: This movie came out around the time my cousin Caroline was born, and for the longest time I kept mixing up the 2 names despite having not seen the movie at the time simply because I heard part of Other Father's song from a trailer.
