Catra really does feel like an actual cat, in the sense that she always does exactly what you don't want her to do. Seriously, I hate it when girlfriends fight. Also, Yes, Scorpia is in fact, half humanoid, half scorpion, and she's awesome.

Upon further reflection I’ve realized this episode actually introduces us to the three biggest himbos of the series: Himbo!Adora of whom we’ve previously only seen brief glimpses, Sea Hawk, and Scorpia.

I’m trying to keep my words vague. So I know a lot of fans have loved Scorpia right from her introduction, but it actually took me a long time to come around on her because of how she doesn’t respect Catra’s physical boundaries. I mean yes, Catra is a cute cat, but she’s also a person and you can’t just go around picking people—or any animal—up and squeezing them because you think they’re cute. And she did it more than once, despite Catra’s very obvious negative reaction the first time. Like Catra, I’m also finicky when it comes to physical touch, so I feel for her during those interactions. I would say the same for Mermista with Sea Hawk, but their dynamic is…complicated.
