"She's so ordinary, she's brilliant. She's got this beautiful daughter. She's happy. And now the universe is turning around her again. I don't believe in destiny, but if destiny exists, then it is heading for Donna Noble right now."

Me and my mates from our university’s Doctor Who society in Cardiff gathered to watch The Star Beast live and we loved it. I know you may not think it’s great but it’s still good fun and to me and my friends, it feels like we’ve traveled back in time to 2008. I hope we see more of Rose not just the anniversary specials but for when we get to Ncuti’s era next year because despite Yasmin Finney’s good performance and the great intentions from Russell and Yasmin, I would like to see her more fleshed out especially if it means getting an even further depth of trans representation in the series if possible. It’s still great as it opens the door for representation that Doctor Who hasn’t attempted yet. For example, as someone with ASD, I’d love Russell or a guest writer with and or experience with autism write a positive representation of those on the neurodivergent spectrum. Really excited for Wild Blue Yonder even though we know very little about it and possibly the most hyped of the specials with its ambiguity.
