MrTARDIS May 2022 Update (I'm Going Away!) (Patreon)

Hello Patrons!

Sorry for the lack of written updates here. Partly, it's because I broke out of the habit of doing them (sorry) but it was also because I was too busy actually making videos to put them together (so not-sorry? i dunno).

First things first! I got married last weekend! Technically. Kind of.

Eagle-eyed viewers of mine will know that I legally got married back in June 2021 in an understated lockdown registry office ceremony. So the ceremony at the end of April 2022 was for friends, family and a party. With that being said, we're both going away for a week for our honeymoon!

As a result, there will be no livestream or livestream-segments next week. However, the moment has been prepared for. I've got 3 scheduled uploads throughout the week on an assortment of topics. We've got;
- Series 1 (2005) Worst to Best
- A Series 7 Explainer Video
- A Response/Reaction Video

Patrons will get access to 2 of these scheduled  uploads immediately in a separate post that will follow this one (I'm making this post public). It'll also have a link to the feature length 'Class' Retrospective as that's still making its way through YouTube's Content ID System in case any Patrons have missed it or not watched it already.

There was going to be a 4th; the full compilation of the Top 50 Doctor Who Scenes December Marathon. However, despite winning the Content ID Claims and the Copyright Strike attempt on my channel from BBC Studios, YouTube's systems have glitched out and the video has not been freed. Several videos from the same marathon had the same issue back in November 2021. I've been in touch with YouTube about this and they're attempting a fix, but it's frustrating how I can win all the disputes and have this video ready to go for over 2 months and a glitch on YouTube's end could reset the progress. But at this point, I'm just venting. Anyway...

I'll be available to contact through e-mail and through Discord during my week away. Livestreams should recommence from May 16th.

Anyway, after that we're 1/3 into 2022! We've had 2 of the 3 final 13th Doctor specials of the year and the Centenary Special coming later on. Between June and the Centenary Special I'd like to do some explainer-type videos talking about who companions Tegan & Ace are. This is mainly to give myself an excuse to watch more Classic-Who but considering how well my Doctor Actor Announcement video did (reaching 100K views today) it seems that this is the type of video that people outside of my subscriber-base want to watch.

After that, who knows? I'm wanting to do more reviews and rankings but don't have anything specific in mind right now. I've got some more freelance media work lined up when I'm back from the honeymoon, including my first ever job abroad which has been a professional bucket-list item of mine. But you can keep up to date on the immediate future of my Channel on my social media!
