March 2016 UPDATE! (Patreon)

Dear Patrons!

I hope you are all well and I thank you for your continued support! I'm currently working on getting the PDF reviews to you, it's just been hard to find a moment to convert them and get them all organised. Also, I've contacted those of you who qualify for the "Request a Vlog Topic" Perk, but you haven't replied. Check your inboxes!

I just thought I'd let you folks be the FIRST to know what's happening in my life at the moment. As I said in my last update video, I'm currently in the process of moving into a new flat with my partner. Well, this morning, we got the go-ahead.

If there are no issues with the paperwork over the next few days, we will be moving into the new place within the next two weeks. Naturally, this is a time-consuming process so there won't be much time for the cinema or work but I'll try and get content up during that time.

This new place also includes a spare bedroom, which myself and my partner will be converting into an office/workshop space. The room is very well insulated meaning it's an ideal recording space so it will be my primary filming/recording/writing area. This should hopefully increase productivity once the move is complete and also make the videos look and sound better.

Also, while this is not a promise (I must stress that), because we'll be getting a flat, the original 'Meatspace' actors are interested in filming some one-off shorts. Basically, 2-3 minute, single-skit episodes that could be done for fun as well as a calling-card for 'Meatspace' as a long-form concept or other ventures ("We weren't a fan of the shorts, but we liked the actors. Let's discuss something else with them", for example). But in terms of getting film projects done, my priority right now is the Manchester Easter Filmonik where I'll be writing and directing a police-comedy biopic.

Yes, a biopic. Stay tuned.
