Been very busy over the past week so these Patreon updates have been a bit late coming, but here we go! Spongebob movie review! I was kinda taken aback by how little live-action content was in this movie, especially considering the fact that it takes up almost all of the advertising. Whether it was the trailers or the posters, 90% of the focus was on the 3D, Superhero aspect of the film when that only comes into play in the last 20-30 minutes. But, if it got more kids into the movie theatre to watch some good 2D animation on the big screen, then I'm happy. Because 2D does look great on the big-screen. If you're a fan of the show, I recommend the movie. If not...I still think you should see it. Just brace yourself for some very strange content...

The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water Directed by: Paul Tibbitt & Mike Mitchell Written by: Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger Starring: Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown, Carolyn Lawrence & Antonio Banderas Music: John Debney Certificate: PG Release Date: March 27th 2015 When animator and producer Stephen Hillenburg created the offbeat animated children's show "Spongebob Squarepants" in 1999 for Nickelodeon, I doubt even he could have foreseen just how far the show would go.
