I've been having fun with these boys but it has taken me a bit to finish this pic hehe 🦊💧
I really feel like a need to find a faster rendering technique.
Hope you like the update! ;)

Loving how this is coming along. You are absolutely killing it!

Looking nice. I might be in the minority in this, but I actually like your old cell shading style just a bit more than the rendering. But still, love the detailing and technique!

Oooh , they look so shiny and smooth! Really huggable. ~,,~ Say, have you changed something about your coloring and shading technique?

You're truly welcome my friend! Even if it takes a bit longer that's fine 😊 you're doing great! All the positivity to you 💖

Thanks JLU! I actually took a look at some of those old cell shade pics and I think some of them still hold up I might tone the rendering a bit down, kinda mix it with the cell shade concept in order to make quicker pics 🤔

Glad you like it Argyle! I'd say lately I've been embracing a couple painting techniques to have better control over effects and lighting, also been playing around getting rid of lineart in some areas

I thought I sent this comment a few days ago, but oh well I'll write it again. I can see the lines begin fading and blending with the background in a few places, so I think I noticed! Also, in this picture you're giving the characters a lot of glow/shine, as if they were oiled. I don't mind it, I'm simply pointing it out! Perhaps they're in a beach setting and they are, indeed, oiled up. Boo and Ellie especially could have a short fuzz that resembles skin, so it would make sense. Don't know about your foxy boy, though. In past pictures I noticed you reserved glow for latex clothes and the like, or didn't quite use it. It's nice to see you experiment more. :3

Haha, I guess i went a little crazy on the shinnies! 😆 But yeah my intention is to make them look either wet or oiled, sometimes I ignore the fact that they'd actually have fur instead of skin just for the sake of looks and aesthetic 😉

Yes, it's not the first time I see that artistic choice. I don't mind, every artist is free to make their subjects extra shiny. -u-
