This report refers to the unfortunate, albeit predictable, occurrence during the latest cycle of Operation Nightlight. It seems that 'Doctor Conscience', as I have come to fondly call our erstwhile employee [REDACTED], had a change of heart regarding the objectives of our work.

Despite their initial promise and remarkable proficiency in our cybernetic field, their sudden acquisition of a moral compass led to a decrease in productivity and, consequently, an uptick in my working hours.

This change of heart, coupled with late-night rendezvous in the lab, raised suspicions that I thought it best to validate. Upon further investigation, it was confirmed that Doctor Conscience's loyalty had indeed swayed from our collective directive.

For now, I suggest the immediate repurposing of Doctor Conscience as a test subject for the next phase of our research, which, coincidentally, requires the special set of skills they possess. Perhaps in this new role, Doctor Conscience will finally appreciate the value of our work, albeit from a different perspective.
