You guys are so much fun! Love your reactions. Don’t be so hard on Riley’s mom, though. I have 2 teenage boys and if one of their friends came to my door and told me he was dead, I don’t know how I’d react. I would hope I would show more grace than that, but she wasn’t in her right mind. She knew Erin was telling the truth. She knew Erin would never lie about something like that….but denial is the first phase of grief and she was denying HARD….but it’s not because she’s terrible, I promise. The vampire rules in this are The Vampire Diary rules. You have to die with vamp blood in your system, then you’ll be a full vampire when you come back. Really looking forward to the finale with you guys. So much happens that sheds light on motivations and true character. As someone with diagnosed religious trauma, this show is such a beautiful story showing how blinded people can be by faith and how a church can manipulate its members, even unintentionally. Anything can become dangerous when critical thinking is clouded/denied in pursuit of faith.

The “angel” 🙄 looks amazing, the wings, looked flawless when he was in church, that whole shot, the way it was filmed solely focusing on him, was fantastic. SO much happened this episode, so much and it doesn’t stop until the end. Mike Flanagan does not miss, sometimes he goes a little monologue heavy but I truly didn’t mind that in the fall of the house of usher which I hope you’re still going to watch 🤞🏻 And edited to say: Bev the bitch knew EXACTLY what she was doing when she said “close the doors” trapping everyone inside.

I think that if they die after consuming the blood in communion, they come back full vampire and burn in sunlight. They only change completely to a blood thirsty vampire after death. At least that's how I understand it after the doctor explains it. Also, I wonder..... according to vampire lore if the vampire that changes you dies you revert back into human, is that the case? Hmmmm.... Obviously a cross isn't damaging because the whole show revolves around a church. Just my thoughts.
