No spoilers, but if you guys haven’t watched episode 3 yet, I recommend you watch it with the lights way down low otherwise it’s gonna be hard to see.

One of my favorite scenes of this seasons is when Dany and Jon ride the dragons together. It’s just magical 🐉

Gonna need to turn the brightness on your monitors up for episode 3, it’s pretty dark and not in any kind of good way. And yes the symbol has been seen a few times throughout the show. Also the guy killed with arrow at 15:04 is Mac from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I was wondering when we’d start giving the Ep 3 brightness comment - also, feel free to turn down the lights in your room - we want to hear you and love your faces but for this episode, we more want to know that you know what’s going on than anything else so that you don’t miss the best details.

The episode begins with a call back to the first episode with a kid climbing high up to see the royals coming and ends with the kid that was push waiting for the man who done it.

There are a lot of parallels between 1x1 & 8x1! You were right about the Walker symbolism. Also, the young boy climbing to watch Dany's arrival like Bran did for King Robert, Arya "lurking" around / not there to greet the King/Queen, both episodes ending with Jaime & Bran. Ned also told Jon 1x1 he'd tell him about his mother the next time he sees him, 8x1 he finds out in the crypt. -

Ep 3 is a masterpiece, turn your lights down so you don't miss anything. It was filmed over a course of almost 2 months and the cast and crew were battling the flu. And the music is amazing.

You need a full length watch along for episode 3! This is one of the best episodes of the show it won many awards. As others are saying about the lighting and brightness it will have to be adjusted. The entire episode takes place at night. There is so much going on you don’t want to have to try to figure it out because you can’t see. If you only do one full length this season this should be it. The part of this episode where they find the umber boy takes place at the Last Hearth. The dead got there first. That part was very dark and hard to see. Use it as a template for your lighting for 8x3. You should be able to see the walls and ceiling plus the characters before the sword is lit. If you can clearly see it then the lighting will be prepared for ep 3.

Kit Harrington who plays John was injured when filming the dragon flying scenes. So you see a little more of his stunt double than usual in the next few episodes. The scream you hear when he is flying is the actual scream from when he got hurt. The actors who play Jamie and Euron have been friends in real life for 20 yrs. The actor who plays Euron was a kindergarten teacher before this.

So Jon would be Aegon sixth of his name so that would make him the sixth aegon king. Aegon is a popular name in the Targaryen family as the first Aegon was the conqueror. Fun fact as the books only go so far it is theorized that Jon's name in the book will be Jaehaerys not Aegon. This reasoning is because his father Rhaegar already had a son named Aegon with Elia Martell and while Aegon the Conqueror is a famous name, King Jaehaerys I was known as one of the first good kings of Westeros. Also the name being similar with the Js. This is just a book theory though. I just personally like it better because I can't imagine someone naming two children the same name, Rhaegar could be that much of a dick but we also don't know him LOL

I know you still have episode 2 but wanted to prepare you early for Episode 3 is coming! Prepare for one of the greatest episodes of television you will have ever seen: “the fact that it was easily the most expensive single episode of television in the history of the medium; that it featured a battle scene longer than anything seen in Lord of the Rings; that it required several months and a cast equivalent to the population of a small Balkan country to film.” You may want to live stream this one! Arya & Jon reunion was EVERYTHING!! Best reunion & sibling relationship. They've always clearly adored each other. Genuine happiness & peace on Arya's face, when she's in her brothers arms. & no guys, Arya wasn't being combative with Jon. She said remember that because Jon has never seen himself as a Stark due to thinking he's a bastard. However, Arya has always seen him and treated him as true Stark unlike Sansa, so she knows Jon well, trusts him and knows he needs valdation of being a Stark too. Also, No the mutes are Greyjoys crew not the golden company.

I don’t think they mean they will start HOTD on 2/1. It just means they’ll start the show sometime during February. But I could be wrong!

I had hoped to be starting it by the 1st but these last 4 GOT episodes are all short movies 😭 so it’s likely the last 1-2 will fall into February, but not far! Thrones will be done and posted by end of next week for sure.
