I’m rewatching the series right now and my teenage son is watching for the first time. We are caught up to you guys, so I can’t start the watch along without him or he will be mad! We have a lot of fun with them. I will have you guys on my phone with one air pod in and then my son sitting with me in real time….it feels like I’m watching with everyone in the room in a way. Thanks for doing this it’s a cool little bonding experience and my boy.

The dany and Jamie scene is in my opinion is one of the BEST parts of the entire show

I did a second watch with my teen son during the pandemic too! I think it was good for him to see the exaggerated horribleness of Joffrey and other characters to be able to be like - see, you want to be someone like Davos or Brienne, not an a$$

One of the best things about this show and this episode is there's such a long journey and character building you genuinely are rooting for people on both sides

I loved the time jump, no problem with it whatsoever. Aria been training all her young life, when she was at King landing and with the mountain brother.

Not to be rude here but Battle of the Bastards is the greatest battle of all. You can't say dragons using fire to kill soldiers can be the best battle when the army fighting their opposites on the battlefield where you can have a clear view of sword swing fighting emotional battle experience b/w soldiers with bodies all around should feel way better experience battle compared to this one side having dragons clearly favorites cannot be subjectable

That's how my parents were. They knew I'd hear way worse stuff in s school anyway, so what's the harm in letting me watch Terminator movies when I'm 8? haha

Epic episode! I waited to watch the show too (last year).... I think my main issues with season 7/8, are the fact that everybody so aggressively would tell me how bad they were, and "you love it now but just wait till season 7 and 8 they ruin it!!!!" So it sucked, because I basically went into those seasons with a hyper critical eye, almost waiting for it to be ruined. I can understand some of the complaints....but it never got in the way of enjoying the hell out of it just as much as the early seasons. It never had a "well that was dumb" moment. I felt logical how everything ends

Agreed it was better to watch it after it had aired as it didn’t feel like it was rushed… I didn’t like dialog lapse or lack there of but other than that it was by far the best series since…. Sons of Anarchy I’d say.

You’re forgetting a few scenes dedicated to Arya’s training. By the end of it she is able to fight back the Waif while also being blind lol. And only after she is a bad ass while also being BLIND, do they give her her eyesight back.
