Time to be "the book nerd" again, but I'm still somewhat disappointed they toned Daario down for the show. Sure, he'd look ridiculous. Ridiculously awesome. Blue hair and golden mustachos? Sign me up.

lol I was thinking about if the book series ever gets fully finished by Martin if there’s room for a GOT reboot in future, with the official book ending and maybe some more outlandish character accuracies (given how big the show is I assume a “reboot” down the line would have quite a budget for such things lol)

1000% yes. It would work so well as an animated series I think - then it'll avoid the whole "actors growing up faster then the characters" issue that's already noticeable with some characters (namely Brann - he went from a little boy to a teenager very quickly and its hard to hide it!). They can go as wild as they like with being book accurate too - and I would name some examples but I do not want to spoil at all, even if its things not in the show, it might tip you off, so I'll leave it at that.

We are praying for that but George RR Martins last book finishes I believe at the end on season 5. They need to do something though. Everything before season 8 is IMO on this level. It's the greatest show ever made so it deserves an ending that fits with the rest of the show.

The book material is running out during season five, yeah. Though I say 'running out' because a lot of it was cut that I think would have been great to keep in.

@Melanie Vine: I personally noticed the quality of the show drop and checked out as early as season 7, for other people it was season 6 (although I thought season 6 was fine, but on rewatches I can see some of the issues now). It wasn't just suddenly season 8.
