I replayed you guys at the end 3 different times 😂😂😂 I was 11 when GoT first aired, and my mom and older brother were huge fans of the books so we all watched every episode together (ignoring that an 11 year old should ABSOLUTELY NOT be watching GoT 🤣😅) and I remember even then screaming at the TV when Ned died. This and Lord of the Rings is what GAVE Sean Bean his reputation of always dying 😭😭😭

I'm gunna be that girl - but the battle Tyrion is in is different in the book (or at least, his actions are). He's not instantly knocked out - instead he gets lucky, the knight who almost kills him gets unhorsed and breaks his leg under his horse and Tyrion takes him captive. I'm guessing they did this version due to budget - season one has this problem a few times, despite being overall a very excellent season.

It's crazy the extremes Tywin goes to. Jaime literally arranged the entire thing because he wanted his little brother to get some attention from a woman for once. He saw how women were disgusted by Tyrion and tried to do something for him, only for Tywin to turn it into a everlasting memory that will never leave Tyrion. Also, something more fucked about Ned's execution is they used the Valyrian steel sword of House Stark, Ice.

You might have missed this part about Jon's new sword, but its Valyrian steel. The strongest steel in the world. The secrets to forging the metal have been lost with time though. So no new Valyrian steel swords are made. That sword that Jeor gave to Jon was in the Mormont family for hundreds of years. Also, I would suggest taking quick pause breaks if you want to discuss anything major about the show or your theories. Or using subtitles if you can follow along while talking. So much of this show is within the dialogue, and some future plot points or dialogue will go over your head if you miss it previously. I follow a lot of GOT reaction channels, and the ones that get the most views are with reactors who pick up on the small things. People who watched the show live and didn't binge had a bit easier time with this as we had all week between episodes and years between seasons to review and speculate what had happened. You're likely not going to pick up everything, but taking pause breaks so you can listen to all the dialogue will help a lot. Keep up the good work! You guys are a lot of fun to watch.
