I can see them maybe eating the baby, but I don't think the show would have them kill a baby. I think the baby will be still born or maybe have the cord around it's neck so it can't be saved and then they eat it.

I also noticed Tawny's eyes more this season so I looked it up and she has amazing hazel/green eyes. I think she has contacts in to match Jasmin's eyes. But they do seem brighter this season so I wonder if that's something that's going to come into play. Sophie wears contacts to match Melanie's eyes as the actress has bright blue eyes.

I have a feeling Shauna is gonna trick everyone else into Cannabalism now since she seems like the butcher of the group and is the one distributing the meats for the soups and what not 😅

(Also, side note: yeah, even in 2023, ECT or electroconvulsive therapy is considered a pretty effective treatment for severe depression and other conditions. Brutal, but apparently helpful?) Okay, here's my thoughts: - By all accounts - considering the weather, the fact he wasn't dressed for cold weather and has basically zero survival skills - Javi *should not* be alive, but going on how they've been showing us Lottie's sort of 'raport' with the forest over the last season, I can't help but think we will find him sort of 'miraculously' alive because of some little something Lottie did or said to him. Either that OR - something almost as likely - he was able to make his own connection with the forest and survived because of that. - Here's my theory about this *whole thing* so far, based on what we've got: I think that forest the plane crashed in *is* alive or cursed or something to make it essentially a sentient entity. It connected with Lottie and she wound up connecting right back with it in the last episode of s1 (the line about darkness, plus the whole ritual with the bear's heart). I think the forest likes that she has visions and can basically use her to do whatever it wants. And in trade - she gets whatever she wants out of life. - Which would lead me to my other theory: I sincerely do think that Tai is absolutely unaware of what that whole shrine (RIP Biscuit! ;v;) under their house is or does - but the sleepwalking version of herself *does know*. Because I think that wherever Tai's mind goes when she's sleepwalking, she's either still connected to or *reconnecting* to the forest (or whatever entity/entities are out there). And that part of her knew that doing that whole ritual with Biscuit would secure her election win. (Which - now I'm starting to wonder if they don't sacrifice Shauna's baby and/or another one of the girls on the team to the forest in exchange for being rescued. Hmmm...) - I care so much more about Shauna's storyline in the forest than the current-day lol Like - Shauna in present day has literally made all of her own problems wholesale, no help from the forest required! EVERYTHING is her fault for her making a whole lot of dumb assumptions. Jeff and Bianca, Adam, all of it. Shauna's going in the corner because she's trifling and she annoys me. lol - Sweet baby Steve! He's adorable, and hopefully he'll survive the season. I'm not hopeful (knowing the track record cute pets tend to have in horror movies), but I'm still holding out hope, iykwim. Because pubby! - Van is still alive and I have a feeling that she was, for a while, a part of Lottie's forest cult once they got back to civilization - since we do see her in that ritual that Lottie did at the tree - but ultimately, she decides to leave and hide away so -nobody- in the survivor's group can find her. As we do see, though, iirc I think Tai eventually is the one to go and find her. - Like you two said - of COURSE Lottie would have a message to Nat from Travis. That's one of the main ways that cults operate: they prey on people when they're at their most emotionally vulnerable (they're more suggestible that way - so you can make them believe just about anything after that, if you get them with the hook). ANYway omg this is so long I'm so sorry lol I just apparently had a lot of thoughts about this episode. Thanks, you two, for such a great reaction as always! <3

Yeah I don't think it will be a "they kill and eat the baby" sort of thing. But if it is stillborn or something else happens I don't see them having a problem eeating the baby. Survival ya know 😬 I saw someone on reddit saying they would stop watching if they ate the baby, and all I could think was "weak" lol. This show has got me a bit backwards lmao.

Me, too! One of my hobbies is kinda 'forecasting' for shows like this - I just love breaking complicated stories down to try to figure them out. This one is great fun, because it's still so early on in the narrative and it could go so many different ways!

As far as Javi, I was thinking it's possible there are others out there. Like a cult/clan. Bc that symbol was already on the tree when they crashed. I think it's possible they may have found him & are taking care of him. But I honestly don't know. I think Travis is way more important but I'm not sure why yet. I think it's possible Lottie & him may have gotten together at some point. Maybe after the rescue. I think the girl Nat stabbed with the fork is possibly a daughter of Lottie. I could be so far off. But I usually come up with like 50 theories and when one of them hits Im like "I knew it!" 😂😂 But of course the more information we get theories will change. I am exactly where you are on Lottie. I believe her but I don't trust her. I'm not sure if she's psychic & crazy or if it's that she's possessed or if it's a combination of all the things. Love this show! Love you guys!! The cast and crew have said this season is so much darker. & That cannibalism is just the tip of the iceberg. 😬😬

I think either Lottie killed Travis in order to bring everyone back together (knowing Nat wouldn’t just sit around) or Shauna and Tai did it together. I’m not sure what their motive would be but I can’t shake their reactions to the knowledge of Travis’ death.
