When you guys gonna continue doing the Stranger Things reactions?

Y’all got a new camera or? Is that the lighting? Something is different here

bridgeco

Rearranged everything, then had to get a new camera because our good camera doesn’t have enough field of view in the new positioning 😭 gonna take a little while to figure out good settings

I loved seeing Troy Baker in this episode(played James). Troy voiced Joel in the game.

Sean O'Neill

Troy Baker being in this episode is awesome. Weird seeing him as a bad guy, and when he talks all I can hear is Joel heh. So that makes 3 original voice actors that have been on the show, that I know of. Marlene is played by the original voice actor. The guy with the big beard in the KC QZ episode, the one that was killed by the bloater, was the original voice actor for Tommy and now we get Troy Baker, the voice of Joel in the game. I’m happy to see Troy get a shot in front of the camera rather than just being the mocap and voice behind the scenes.

Not saying it looks bad or anything. It’s refreshing looks good

Regarding your comments @ 24:00 - If you're drawn into the story as depicted in the show, I confidently believe you will enjoy the game. While there are minor deviations in the HBO series, the central story beats of each episode come directly from the game (short of episode 3, which the game told through notes around Bill's house and had a much less meaningful story arc). You can even see that much of the show's cinematic direction is heavily inspired by the game. Here are some short video clips from this episode synced to its respective game cutscene: - https://twitter.com/chrisdadeviant/status/1632577092901801985 - https://twitter.com/chrisdadeviant/status/1632582342786314240 - https://twitter.com/chrisdadeviant/status/1632574337239875584 As for TLOU Part II, it, too, is an incredible story (with much-improved gameplay over the first one, as well). That said, if you genuinely want to have the best experience with the second game, it is *critical that you are careful to avoid spoilers online*! The majority of people I know who went into the second game with no preconceptions (like myself) thoroughly enjoyed it. In contrast, those who had some major plot points spoiled for them (due to a hack of Naught Dog's network just before the game's release) had an experience that skewed much more negatively.

Also, assuming you have a PS5, I strongly recommend you purchase the "remake" of The Last of Us Part I for the PS5: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP9000-PPSA03396_00-THELASTOFUSPART1 The remake is 100% faithful to the original but ported into the updated game engine from Part II, meaning it will provide you with the same modern experience for both Part I and Part II (stunning graphical fidelity, improved enemy AI, high framerate options, and more).

OMG when Bridget said they're about to eat her dad at 2:50. If only you knew at the time how right you were

It's really important to me that Ellie is the person to save herself. Joel is there for emotional support, which is so important, but it's Ellie who got out of there. Just like the game. Fantabatasticalicious episode. And awesome reaction too.

Fredrik IB

Are you guys going to play the game on your own time, or will it be on Patreon/YT?

Julia RMcNew

I had the EXACT same reaction as yall (esp Bridgette) with the entire ending. When Joel said "I got you baby girl" it BROKE me 😭😭😭💔💔💕💕

Ana Fox

It's almost comical how that baby girl hits us all like a freaking train.

bridgeco

most likely will livestream it right on youtube! and if it doesnt stay up as a livestream itll be edited and posted lol

Chrissy

I was both of you when Joel said “babygirl” 😩😩
