Can they make it any more obvious? “I could shoot someone in Times Square and not lose a vote”. I miss the days of subtlety and nuance rather than sensationalized bullshit. I still really like the show, I just despise where the politics are. Orange man bad! Liberal good! And no, I’m not a supporter or a Conservative, I’m just burned out on all of the heavy handed politics in so many shows, not just The Boys. Other than that, it was a great finale. Looking forward to seeing where they go with Season 4.

Exactly. I don’t care what the politics are, I just want them out of my entertainment. I spend enough of my time reading about politics and being concerned over the direction of things in my country. I watch things as an escape, so when those same politics are so blatantly front and center, it destroys the escape and relaxation I get from watching shows. I want to relax, not get more aggravated.

Those were kinda funny, yeah, that’s not really the stuff that bothers me as it’s kinda light hearted. It’s the painting of one side as racist, bloodthirsty Nazis versus “Libtards” who are so woke they can’t ever sleep and the portrayal of Homelander as an exact Trump stand in. Todd being the most Trumpy Trump supporter to ever Trump always spouting off about the “mainstream media”, etc. That’s the in your face crap I mean. Last season they literally had homelander dating an actual Nazi, so….yeah :P

I second this request. The episodes are mostly pretty short and it's worth a watch, and at least one episode is highly relevant to the main show ;)

Thanks! I looked under the Boys playlist and didn't find it but when I searched it came up :) I enjoy your reactions so much! This episode was incredibly emotional for me too! I had unexpected emotions toward Homelander when Ryan got hurt and he FORGOT the fight centered around himself to check on Ryan... that MOMENT when Maeve and Butcher exchange a LOOK and we know... Butcher's about to turn on Soldier Boy instead, for Ryan's sake... And when Hughie finally learned the lesson he's been trying to learn all season, and LITERALLY empowered Starlight instead of trying to save her again... yeah, I got chills too! I can't wait for season 4! Do you guys have any plans to watch the Boys Presents: Diabolical before season 4 starts? :)

Also... my dream for next season is not Homelander, dead. It's Homelander, POWERLESS. That would be a fate worse than death for him, for sure. And if he loses his powers, he is REALLY in trouble, as many enemies as he has. I would LOVE for that to happen.
