I think this season was great overall. But it does feel like we were just coming up on episode 9 and 10 to finish out with a bang. We're thinking a stream tonight (Monday Night) for some final thoughts and to hear from everyone! We'll schedule that later but I'm tired now so enjoy and goodnight.

I don't know of this has been said, haven't gone through all the comments, but originally it was gonna be 10 episodes. But during pre-production HBO and WB merged and Max cut budget for all its shows. So they were told they couldn't do 10 episodes. THEN the writer's strike happened so they couldn't change what they had lined up. Which is why it doesn't feel like a finale and why so much was cut back because of major budget constraints and the strike lining up with production. Sucks real bad. I think they could have put off creating the show till after the strike and reformatted it to fit 8 episodes better. Then immediately get into production of S2 so it is still only a 2 year wait. But I am not a film making expert by any means and this is probably what they were able to do with what they had.
