The Otter Man

So this little side story about buggy and his crew was originally shown through cover stories where there was one panel from the story shown on each chapter cover for a few dozen chapters straight. There are several of these cover stories in the manga, but unfortunately the anime only ended up adapting this one and the second one, despite the rest of them being cannon as well.

The reason this was called "mixed canon/filler" is because they added a bit to the scenes that were shown on covers to make it more cohesive as a standalone side story
