Lol it can be a bit confusing if you don't pay super close attention but basically, his father had already been dead for two years before he was born. This doesn't have anything to do with his Stand, but rather, it's a reference to the Antichrist. Like a demon child suddenly appearing in the womb. And yes, he has a split personality which you will see in much greater detail in the upcoming episodes. Doppio is oblivious to it, but "the Boss" personality has complete control. Lastly, because Doppio isn't really evil or a true fighter, he can't properly use King Crimson. He doesn't even know he has it. "The Boss" lies to him by telling him he's nearby or that he's letting him "borrow" a portion of it, which is all bullshit. It's like you said earlier, "The Boss" is just manipulating the hell out of the Doppio personality.
