studies week 1 (Patreon)

i've already shared these on various of social media, but i wanted to wait until i had a week's worth of them before posting here.

i'd picked up a couple of frank frazetta art books last weekend, and while reading through them i decided i wanted to just Get Better. so i got a bunch of reference stock packs from grafit studio and every day i roll a random number generator to pick one to practice with. this first week i did traced>observed>unobserved studies from their warrior poses pack. i didn't have any strong goal in mind for the study other than getting myself in the habit of doing them, and ideally learning a bit more about bulky anatomy, something i've always struggled with. a lot of these turned out pretty crappy, but there's a few i like a lot. learning, babie!

next week i'm going to be doing painted value studies because i got fuckin sick of this by the end lol
