mostly just getting some practice in with drawing these characters and solidifying their Looks in my head. i've been tapping away at this story for the past couple days and having a lot of fun with it. i've been So trapped in historicals/fantasy erotica, it's really refreshing to write a contemporary romance. totally different sort of pacing and voice and relationship development--in that there is any, lmao. and now my editor can't yell at me for describing things like paper airplanes and juiceboxes in a fantasy world that doesn't have those. now i can namedrop vespas.
