Calyrex: JackalopeXbuddha?! (Patreon)

Calyrex is definitely unique looking. Especially his cute dangly legs. Urshifu is obviously has eastern references but Calyrex seemed more European. 

Did some googling, and he could be based of the Irish Hare myth. A witch, that can transform into a hare and is currently one, is being hunted by a warrior. It managed to evade the warrior for a moment. The warrior caught up by he saw a woman instead, who was injured at the same spot the hare he was chasing had. The woman takes the warrior to the 'Otherworld' via a Large Yew Tree.

It all seems to click, except for the Buddhist beads he wears. That's when I saw GaijinGoomba's video that theorist he could be based on Sidharta Gautama Buddha! Yes, the guy who invented Buddhism. You guys should watch his video for more details, but basically Calyrex is similar to Buddha. Both are of royal origin; (Buddha was a royal who left it all, Calyrex was Galar's ruler) Both have symbolisms to trees (Buddha meditated under a Bodhi tree, Calyrex's big ass head/crown looks like a shrub), and his typing Psychic = Zen.
