They really kind of did an “evil edit” on Hongseok though.. poor guy went after his dreams and was thrown to the wolves with MIX&MATCH. He loves to sing, but not have trained in dancing. He was out in such a chaotic situation in where he had to improve and get better in a short time. Then his straight forward personality did rub not only the others, but fans too. But for me I thought it was a natural conversation.. no one was really talking to him due to awkwardness. So he lead the conversation and asked about them. But yes, obviously in time they all got comfortable and close with Hongseok. There’s special clips of each episode and shows Hongseok’s humor and how he makes everyone laugh. If you want to know what Hongseok is doing, he went to CUBE and went on another survival show called, PENTAGON MAKER. He did really well and became 2nd debut member of PENTAGON. So his time in YGE was a good learning experience and he really did work hard on his dancing is a lot better l! His confidence is really good and of course his vocals is so husky and soothing. He’s also still friends with IKON and they had some interactions in music shows. 👍
