For the Vimeo app problem, the link can be opened first in the browser, then opened in the Vimeo app from the browser page. An extra step, but it works.

XLUUVs are very useful. If you don't need it to be very stealthy (indiscretion), a big diesel-electric can work for months even! For stealthy work, the problem they have is stealthy mid-range/long range communication -- like any sub basically. They could be used to extend the range of other manned subs (food, fuel, oxygen). They could themselves be charged or fueled out at sea, underwater.
