That's one sorry-ass looking sub. As a resident of northern Norway, I'm pretty happy that the rusting hulls that were littering the harbours of the Northern Fleet have been properly dealt with over the last decades. With some help from Western friends.

Such a sad fate for such a piece of Soviet submarine engineering... what a waste! If at least they could scrap her... I think it's better and more honorable than letting her rot in a pier.

I also noticed the oddly shapped Projekt-940 "Lenok" in one of the pictures. Interesting submarine concept. Apparently they were also used in Spetnaz' operations. Did I miss a video of yours about them?
