Nice Job, Jive....This is the first brief you've done that actually got me spooked about classified material....If that kind of capability is unclassified....

Really great brief, glad to see a french sub get some love here, hope there are gonna be more of them in the future. I heard Naval Group is working on a new AIP system that should be more efficient, maybe this one will make it to export. Maybe France should build some of these little but yet capable boats for itself as only 6 SSN seems rather limiting

Jive, as great as your briefings always are, but that's one strange way to spell "Oberon". :P

Outstanding! Your voice over is getting better, not that it wasn't good before! My spine tingled a little while you were talking about the black shark, lol.

Based on the comments above it seems it was leaked, not de/unclassified.

Aaron, thanks again for sharing your expertise and knowledge. As you were talking about the various navies acquiring some of the latest technologies, you say that "it is great" that they are gaining access to the latest technology. Could you expand on that a little? From what perspective is "it great"? I am not questioning you on this, I just want to know what your perspective is.

Viva Lula! If he gets elected again I hope he gets to launch the nuclear sub.

Small point, completion, not production, by 2022. Although I'm sceptical even of that as the Spainish seem to have outdone the Aussies for sublimely bungled process. The hull is already complete - pity about the missing AIP system...oh wait...

I believe there is an error on the slide at 27:56. It indicates the SM39 Exocet has a turbojet sustainer. https://missilethreat.csis.org/missile/exocet/ claims that SM39 has a solid-fueled rocket sustainer, but MM40 Block 3 has a turbojet. Have later blocks of SM39 been made with turbojets?

Hello Aaron, Spanish subscriber as far as I’m concerned the Spanish S-80 has already been launched in 2021 and it’s currently in sea trials, any plans on talking about that? BTW awesome brief, thank you
