Vampire Ritual - Nov 2023 Poll Illustration (Patreon)

It is complete! Jonathan Harker joins the Count and the Sire in a mysterious ritual 🕯️🧛🔴 Prompt was "character with their shirt pushed all the way up."

I had a lot of fun with the texture and playing with areas of low contrast vs high contrast. I ended up changing Jonathan's legs a few times to get the best pose for the area, since there's so many limbs there plus the Sire is in perspective. I ended up removing the exposed heart that I had in my concept sketches of the Sire because it made things too busy! It was a cool idea but I wanted to prioritize clarity--which is also why I went with this thumbnail rather than the idea that included more of the Sire's body. This way, less is covered up and the depth in the image looks more convincing.

Make sure you zoom in to really get a good look at all the little lines and texture. I'm happy with how it turned out. B^)
