Functional Pool Table In the sims4 | Billiard Mod (Patreon)

Hi everyone! hope you are all well! I'm so excited to share with you my new mod!

First of all, I am sorry for the wait. I've had a lot of problems with this mod, I hope that it will be worth it,

The Billiard Mod is finally ready! This mod will add a functional pool table to the game,  And by functional I mean a little bit too functional, Everything is animated I have tried my best to keep it as realistic as possible so your sims can capture that feeling of playing a pool game with friends.

Now your Sims can play pool games together, This is a mix of an indoor group activity and a social one;

I will recommend you to read the whole description, but if you don't want to, you can skip to the DOWNLOAD page, I will leave there just the important notes to know about the mod

Where You Can Find The Pool Table?

• You can find it in the Activities and Skills under recreations or you can search it (pool table)
• The table will cost you §6395, I know it's a bit pricey but this is a commercial pool table. I have made it to be placed on a public lot like a bar, Café, Karaoke Bar, or Nightclub...

Also, as a side note, they cost like this in real life, The reference design that I have made to look like it; is a Valley Panther their prices are from $5000-$10000

If you aren't familiar with those kinds of tables, they are the same as the normal ones but you have to insert the indicated coin for the pool balls to get released and then you can play.

The pool table is a little bigger than the other indoor activities. the size of it is somewhat similar to the ping-pong one but it has a larger footprint.

• for the interaction to work, You shouldn't block the coin device and the side hole where the pool balls get dispensed,
• future animations may contain some turning around the table so it is preferable to keep all the sides free.
• the table has a bigger hitbox so the other Sims won't walk into your Sims while they are playing

About the animation and the Pool table:

I have tried to not use any of the sims magic like spawning stuff on their hand, Everything on the table is Animated the Triangle cabinet, the coin device, and the pool balls (even the chalk cube, I didn't add that animation on this version due to some issues with the mod, it'll be added in a future update)

Everything in the pool table has its own custom sound, I have spent a lot of time on them, I couldn't use the game ones since the pool tables and the balls have quite some unique sounds. once you try the mod, give me your feedback about them

Some small details that I would like to mention: Each button has its own purpose The Green for starting the game, the blue for resetting the table, and the red for the end

How to play?

Two interactions will appear on the pool table:

• Play pool with: A Picker menu that will appear to choose with whom you want to play with, The picker will show all the nearby sims, make sure to choose the sims that you already met
• Reset The game: the game isn't meant to work with longer animations, there isn't a proper way to stop the animation mid-way, so You can use it to instantly stop the interaction and reset the table,

To play You will need §10 for each sim, If the sims are from the same household the price will be §20. Also, it won't run if you don't have the right amount to play

The interaction won't run if You haven't met that sim even if it appears on the picker window

Interactions Outcomes:

Since playing Pool is mostly a social game, I have added some chatting to the animation so it will feel more realistic,

This is why The Interaction will boost Both the social and fun needs of your sims, also it will increase their friendship bar,

The interaction will only work on the sims that you have already met

This will be my first Object Interactions mod, it was harder than my other mods and a little bit more complicated, so bear with me here I will try to improve it further in the future!

The mod currently has one Full game-round animation, I originally made two animations so your player sims may randomly lose or win the game, but one of them broke so I has to removed it from this release, don't worry though I will add it on the next update

Known Bugs

I did have a bug at the end of the animation, sometimes when the interaction ended, an in-between clip would play. I didn't know how to troubleshoot it since it was inconsistent,

But I did manage to find a workaround It though. I have changed that clip to a stand-still pose so if it happened it will work seamlessly at the end of the animation, and it will be less obvious. This little fix has cost me to remake a whole segment of the animation

Other than that everything seems to be working well so far. If you have come across any bugs, please report them.

Things To clarify and some upcoming features:

• This mod is BG-compatible.
• The mod does not have a scoring system, I don't know if I will add it to my to-do list or not
• I will add more animations that will play randomly once you start a game
• There isn't much activity for couples So I am planning on making a romantic game interaction (couple playing together) of course with its own animations.
• Everything in the mod should work fine, But it's still my first object interactions mod so it will be an alpha release
