Art from Tuesday’s Stream (Patreon)

Tuesday night we had an artist interview with Isiah Xavier Bradley and what an amazing time it was. Chat was super active and had some great questions. Isiah was super fun, with some nice stories about the art he’s done for us. In the end we spoiled these two new pieces^

First, we updated the artwork for Root Tender. The previous art was from a very early stage in Flawed development and I can personally say I hadn’t solidified the style we were shooting for just yet. This new version meshes much better. It captures some of the aftermath of X being removed from The Great Oak. This Earth Unit is helping to heal he wound left behind after Griffin’s controversial moment.

The second art spoiled is one of my favorite Flawed pieces to date. This art literally explodes off the paper and is the style I love. The inking, the dark spaces, the content and the execution. It has it all. Cleanse is sure to be a staple in Light decks to come, and even if it wasn’t, you’d play it for the art alone!
