Hello Patreon! Since I was out of town for Worlds for the past two weeks, I don't have a new video today, but I thought I'd let you all know what's going on and what to expect.

First off, I am not a good traveller, so even though I got home on Wednesday, I spent the next three nights falling asleep at 7pm and waking up at 3am. Today is the first day that I got a normal night's sleep and am finally feeling like myself again.

There is so much Worlds footage to go through that I just haven't been able to bring myself to look through it yet, since I was still so tired and out of it. Instead I filmed a puzzle solve yesterday of the scavenger hunt puzzle from 1985 that I showed in a recent haul video. I wanted to solve the jigsaw early so I could send the image to some of my puzzle friends and see if they could work out the scavenger hunt portion. If they can't, then it'll be another Money Hunt situation where I just put the puzzle out into the world and see if anyone can get it. However I think this is much more solvable than the Money Hunt, so I'm hopefully I may get an answer. That video will go up on November 12 (it's attached to a sponsored segment, so it's been on the schedule for a while).

I'm planning to start diving into the Worlds editing tomorrow. There will be two recap videos (probably one of the first two days of competition and one of the second two days). I also filmed an interview and mini race with Kristin and Alejandro, so I'll need to go through that and see if it can be a standalone video. Valentina filmed a ton of extra content outside of the competition itself, so I may fold it into a third video that's just all of the extras. But I'm not entirely sure until I look through the footage.

I'm also planning to do a Patreon-exclusive video about everything we did in Madrid outside of the competition. We had a few days on each end and I loved Spain so much that I want to tell you guys all about it.

I also wanted to let you guys know that the Winter Carnival Puzzle Contest signups opened up this morning. They usually fill up, so I'd recommend registering sooner rather than later if you want to go. And big news - they're doing more than just the one event this year - there is a 500 piece Teams, a 1000 piece Teams, and a Pairs event. My team will be me, Faith, Jonathan, and EB. (We didn't kick Kevin off the team from last year - his wife is having a baby and he can't make the trip!) And I'll be pairing up with EB. It should be a lot of fun!

Thank you for all of your support and for cheering me on at the championships. See you all again soon when I crawl out from my Worlds editing cocoon.

I don't want to give away any spoilers, though I watched almost all of the competition online. Congratulations to you individually and to your team The Misfits! On another note, I just finished the 1000-piece version of your Ravensburger Puzzle. I have to say it was the most fun 1000-piece puzzle I have ever done. It wasn't exactly easy, I'd say, but I never got stuck and always found pieces within a few minutes. What a beautifully designed puzzle it is!
