Today's video is all about some puzzles I've been wanting to cover for a while - the Contour puzzles by Milton Bradley released in 1968. These are made of foam and the pieces are different heights and textures to correspond with what is on the image. They're very cool and I've never seen anything else like it:

So you might be wondering where all of the footage is from last weekend's puzzle competition. I filmed so much that I actually got really overwhelmed and decided to push it off and do a simpler video this week instead. But next week will be a video all about my training for the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championships, with footage from the Connecticut competition and all of the practice my team has been doing.

This whole summer I've been filming nonstop and then not having the energy to edit. I have a ton of footage from Puzzle Camp in Big Bear that I want to edit into a recap video. I've been filming for months for my eventual Puzzle Chess video. And I filmed one of the 1980s competition pairs puzzles with EB while she was visiting. But anytime I've had a free moment, I just want to do a puzzle and not take on more editing!

So as for bonus content, I was supposed to go a puzzle competition in Orange County today. However, because of the hurricane, it got postponed so people wouldn't be out on the roads in the rain. I was planning on filming that and editing it for a Patreon video, but that's obviously not happening now. So I think I'll have to skip a week of bonus content, and just as a heads up - if my power goes out because of the storm, next week's video could be delayed too. For now I'm safe and at home with lots of bottles of water, protein bars, and flashlights, so send good vibes that I won't have to use them and can continue working as usual!

I remember when you showed that 3d puzzle with the houses on it (the one with the uglier box) on a previous video and I (and everyone else including you) was thinking "interesting... but very ugly". How funny that it turned out to actually not be ugly xD

It seems like the ink formulas from the ‘70’s were poor since all the boxes have that washed out coloring. Paris
