Exclusive Preview of the 9000 Piece Puzzle Video Part 4 (Patreon)

I had some ambitious plans that after finishing the puzzle on Wednesday that I might be able to get the video turned around by this weekend. I've been editing as I go, so some of it was already cut together by then, so the plan wasn't as crazy as it might sound. But, I was so exhausted after several full days in a row of powering through that sky that I just couldn't do it.

I am working on it though and I should be able to post it next weekend, but for now I have an exclusive preview of Day 12 just for you guys here on Patreon. You can watch it above.

(As always when I share unfinished work, I'm not looking for feedback unless you see something catastrophic. The only feedback I'll take opinions on is whether you think a flash warning is necessary for the time lapse at 5:44. Filming in that corner is tricky because I'm right in front of the window, so the lighting changes every time I move.)

Right now, the full video is coming in at about 40 minutes. However I still have to film the outro and my script for that will probably be about 10 minutes, so it'll probably end up being 50 minutes in total. I'm going to try to tighten it up as I keep editing, but there was a lot to get through!

Plus another hiccup is that I had some audio problems. I think the microphone that I plug into my DSLR ran out of battery, so the segments where I talk directly to camera (later in the video, not in the clip here) ended up defaulting to the in-camera mic and sounding very echo-y. Plus one of them had this high-pitched buzzing sound in the background, so I had to watch a tutorial about how to get rid of it in Adobe Audition. I think it sounds ok now (or at least somewhat listenable), but there's always something, right?

I wasn't familiar with them before they reached out to me, but some people who I'm friends with had been on the podcast in the past, so I figured it would be fun to just chat about puzzles for an hour.
