Newsletter #3 - Starting My Next 9000 Piece Puzzle! (Patreon)
Content
After many many months without doing a giant puzzle, I am back at it and tackling the 9000 piece Astrology puzzle from Ravensburger! This is the same puzzle I did when I was 18, and I kept a time log back then, so I'll be able to do a full comparison between the two solves. So far in this video, I documented the first four days, which was the sorting and the inner circle of the puzzle:
At the end of the video, I also show me going out to Barnes & Noble to buy Gradient Cascade. I shot a little more in Barnes & Noble than I used in the Zodiac video, so you can watch all three of the videos I made there on TikTok:
Seeing my puzzle in Barnes & Noble for the first time
Buying my puzzle (the cashier's reaction is amazing)
Finding all the other places I appear in Barnes & Noble

For my paid patrons this week, I uploaded a preview of the Astrology video back on Wednesday. And then today, I shared a video with exclusive bonus footage that I cut from the main video (and some new clips showing more details about all of the sorting). All of my paid patrons should see another post up right now with a link to that video.
Other Puzzle Links
Check out this full time lapse of my 3000 piece puzzle by @endless.puzzles on Instagram. I'm so honored every time someone takes the time to make video of them solving one of my puzzles.
I was watching a video from How to Cook That about the mystery behind who Betty Crocker actually was, and to my surprise, the story starts with a jigsaw puzzle! The rest of it doesn't have to do with puzzles, but it's really interesting so I'd recommend watching.
I also saw this video of the Sabrina the Teenage Witch case discussing a puzzle made of their faces. Who thinks I should track down that puzzle?
And finally, one my favorite independent musicians is George Watsky, and when releasing his new album, he also led a huge worldwide puzzle hunt to unlock the second half of the album. I was not participating, because those kinds of puzzles where you don't know what you're working towards aren't my strong suit. But the puzzle hunt is finished and the people who solved it put together a *very* comprehensive doc explaining the whole thing. It's 34 pages long and very dense, so if you have some time to to kill, it could be an interesting read.
Just a heads up that because of some prior commitments, the next installment in the 9000 piece puzzle series probably won't be out for about another month. But I promise I'm working on it, and I'll be releasing other videos in the meantime. Thank you for reading and happy puzzling!
