Update for US patrons. (Patreon)

This post is for US patrons only, EU already has a system for this.

Starting next month,  Patreon will be adding sales tax to applicable pledges on Patreon. The added tax depends on your state and pledge. The amount charged is somewhere from 0% to 7% extra (but most likely around 0-3%). 

For example, a 5% tax on the $10 tier will make the new monthly fee $10.50. It's not a huge change but it's worth mentioning this is happening.

To note, this is NOT Patreon's decision - this is a government-mandated change, not something Patreon is choosing to do. All of the sales tax goes to the government, and Patreon has no choice in whether or not they implement it.
