December update 1: Announcement! (Patreon)

Hello guys! I have an important announcement!

As some of you might know, I have not been using "charge upfront" for patrons, which wasn't a problem for a long time. But since the game is gaining more and more support, I've noticed a larger group of "shady" patrons canceling and declining their pledge before the charge comes at the end of the month. Now this is not meant to attack anyone who had good reasons to decline, I won't chase any of them for their decision.

But: I feel at this point that it's starting to hurt pretty badly, I dropped about $200 just before the charge this month, and that feels pretty painful. Those people did get acces to the 300+ posts that I've released in the past, so I really think it's better now for me to change it to "charge upfront".

This isn't meant to be drama, I'm doing fine otherwise. I just think it's important to announce a change like this!

So from now on, New patrons will be charged upfront, existing patrons should be unaffected and still only be charged at the beginning of the month. For more information you can read Patreon's own guide on this feature here: https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/210291283

This means it's better for new patrons to subscribe at the beginning of the month! Just a heads up!
