Progress Report Week 51 / Changelog Sweet Affection Update 0.10.2 (Patreon)

My Time Off

My time away from work and my office is exactly what I needed.
Even though it's still very hard for me not to think about Sweet Affection and the future development of the game.

Being away work and basically forcing myself to take time for myself is something I clearly needed.
And clearly something I need to do more in the future.
I don't mean taking more breaks than I already have planned and communicated with you guys, but forcing myself to stay away from work and everything once I'm done for the day.

Where now, I'm always thinking "Let's do this quick thing for tomorrow." or "Let's just answer this quick message."

Unfortunately, as much as I loved my holiday, during our trip back home we came down with something.
And the moment we came back home, I pretty much spend the next 36 hours cuddling with the toilet bowl.
Not the end that I had planned for our holiday, but it is what it is.

I'm still feeling a little bit sluggish right now, but I'm sure I'll be good once I start working on the 0.10.3 update.

Sweet Affection Update 0.10.2

Luckily, most of the work was already done for this update and I only had the diary pages left to create.
I managed to do that in those 36 hours and right after that our coder got to work with making the build.
Because it's not a very big update, that didn't take long and we managed to finish beta-testing today.

Tomorrow, I'm going to start making all the builds and uploading all of them.
I am going to try and release the Tier 3+ build on December 24th, during the evening.

But depending on how stable my internet connection is, it might be somewhere during the 25th.
So, these are going to be the official release dates for the 0.10.2 build.

Tier 3+ - December 25th.
Tier 2+ - December 30th.
Tier 1+ - January 5th.

A early release for everyone. :)

On 28 November, I made a poll regarding a special scene in Level 10.

I wanted to make those results public before I left on my holiday.
But, in all the hurry I forgot to do that.
My Apology. :)

Future Project

I received a lot of questions regarding the upcoming second project.
- Which characters.
- The story-line.
- How long it will be.
- If the writing will be similar as Sweet Affection.

And so many more questions.
I will answer these questions in either the first progress report of 2024, or the second one. :)

Sweet Affection Update 0.10.3

Now, about the January update.

As mentioned before, because the February 0.10.4 is going to be a massive update, I'll need to make sure I do as much as I can in January for that.

Meaning, that I need to get started on the January update as quickly as possible.

Even though I'll be working short days between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
I'll be doing a lot of prep-work for the upcoming two updates the coming 10 days.
Maybe I'll even get started on making some of the content, but that depends a little bit on how I feel.
