A comment by a Patreon named Patrick Perkins prompted the creation of this map, he was asking about the number of stars each side controlled and where the battle lines were drawn. so here it is, It Didn’t take long at all so I didn’t mind putting it together. Hopefully it will tide you all over till the next page comes out haha. There’s going to be a slight delay on the next page because I’m working long shifts at my day job over the next three days, I’ll try and get a bit done when I get home after each shift but yeah, it’s going to be a little slow I’m afraid guys. I’ve put in for a career break at work, I hope it won’t take too long to hear a confirmation back on that front, because I’m ready to put pedal to the meddle and get this book done! failing that, if after a few months the number of people subscribed to the Patreon remains stable I’ll just knock the day job on the head. Thanks again guys for making a career in art a possibility, I’m eternally grateful ❤️

How come there is a massive gap in the Tandrax’s territory?

Darth Biomech

Oh, I like the polygon-shaped borders definition idea.

CallumStephenDiggle

This is due to the immense space between galactic arms. Their territory is sparse there because of the lack of stars.

CallumStephenDiggle

Not as of yet, but I’m sure I could put one together in the future. I’m very tight for time at the moment is all. What details would you like to see shown?

Oh, this is awesome, thank you so much!! And take all the time ya need bud—it's great that you're getting so much support, you're working on stuff that I find vastly more interesting than most comics published. Keep it up!

Pablo Ostertag Muñoz

I notice something. Is this my idea or these civilizations' territories are actually small? I imagine this huge, thousands of stars inside each civilization's territory, like Stellaris or other space games.

Pablo Ostertag Muñoz

Of course, these depictions are actually more realistic, if you look at the dates which this universe sets in, and the actual info related to the size of our Galaxy in real life.

I really love the fact that each race controls such a tiny bit of the galaxy, even the Tandrax! Very few people making stories about future in space take in mind how big is Milky Way

CallumStephenDiggle

Yeah exactly, when you think about the scale of a single star system, it’s absolutely vast. Now when you look at the map again baring that in mind, these civilisations are absolutely massive. Holding dominion over multiple star systems is an incredible feat of technological prowess.

CallumStephenDiggle

Oh yes absolutely, the Orion arm alone is 3000 light years wide and over 10,000 light years long! I wanted to try and keep it at least somewhat realistic.

Haladrias

well done~! i love it!

Stellaris's default galaxy should be this big to add to the gameplay. Hopefully a Humanity Lost mod will do this!

Love to hear it!

I swear I’ve seen an empire called the kolaxians in a stellaris game before

Gabu

Double checking, Kolaxians territory includes Sol, which is our Earth’s star, right? Where would the Imperium be then? Love these healthy bits of lore! Reminds me of how Tolkien always included maps and languages for Middle Earth.

The Imperium are all the Red parts, whilst the Kolaxians are the Pink parts. I think Callum forgot to put the key for the Imperium.
