I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you for your support on this project so far. You’re really giving me the drive to consistently get these pages done and uploaded, just knowing there are eyes on my work and people who are willing to give me money for my art is seriously motivating!

Great world building.reminds me greatly on Prophet.love your spin though.but how can they sustain such biomass if all bio matter is derived from the human genom.there must be another entry point for energy or not?

Thanks, yeah big prophet vibes! Well I haven’t thought about it too deeply, but I could imagine there being some kind of bio engineered fungi that processes the rock and the metal of the planet\moon\asteroid and feeds directly into the human ecosystem providing nutritional elements for growth, whereby it ultimately ends up developing new troops and ships. The womb world completely devours its host planet leaving nothing in its wake, everything is converted to biomass for the imperium’s malignant expansion. Perhaps the core energy (if there is one) is utilised in some way 🤷🏻‍♂️ Idk mate i’m just spitballing here haha Do you have any neat ideas?

Well in terms of energy import into an organic system i only know three way. First one is photoautotrophic...maybe genengineered algas that are embebbed in the surface structures and will be consumed in part or something like the endosymbiont hypothesis.that the human cells all contain an photosynthetic organelle that privides energy.you could even modify the used wavelenght so they apear red in color.

Second one is chemoautotrophic.maybe the biomass moves deep inside the planet and uses vulcanic gases to produce energy.maybe via symbiont bakteria

Third one is the production of giant factories out of human flesh that emulate thermoplants.i really like the idea that all the planet is consumed with deep bone like pipe that drill themself deeper and deeper into the core and extract thermal energy to full the cancer like consumption of the world

Damn, bro, all great suggestions! Really fascinating stuff, I suppose that could all be canon tbh. The bioengineered elements of the womb world could all be hybrids between different forms of life and human tissues to make it conducive for ecological symbiosis. There would most likely be a holistic multipronged approach to energy production, so all of that can be true.
