Two things! (Patreon)

First of all, thank you all for all of the feedback and comments and such!  I try my best to get to everything as soon as I can, but it's so overwhleming at times to have so much support!  I overlook things from time to time, so I'm sorry if I missed something.  I try to read everything everyone says (for the most part, I get alerted of all comments).  It means so much to me to have you all helping me!

Second, CursedMarked announced this VIA message to his Patrons, but I'll be working with him again to create another Halloween special for IDEKA.  It shouldn't impact my updates any (mostly cause I set schedules for myself), but in case it does, I want you guys to have a heads-up on that.

Oh, and there is a third thing...  Please.  Pleeeeease read my posts whenever I release updates.  I'm so very thankful of everyone's support, but I answer the same questions over and over and over, and it would save me (and you!) a lot of time.  I made the FAQ to help with this, and I tend to leave important info in my posts as well, so please, just take a moment and read them.  I'm thrilled knowing you are super excited for my updates, but this will help me out too ;3  Now, if you don't see what you need help with here, by all means, let me know!  All this helps me tremendously.

Awesome! Thanks for keeping us updated Dyne :) Also, remember it's important to take breaks. Your well-being comes first and I know how it is to be working on multiple projects at once (struggling art student problems @_@). Anyway, good luck with the next patch and the new I.D.E.K.A project! I'm sure imagine the effort and skills of you and your helpers that's doing amazing on making Extracurricular activities. So I'm sure that you and CursedMarked helping each other making  IDEKA is going be awesome.

you don't need too haha if you're patreon Dyne gives two of those updates a month, one the middle of the month and the another at the end of the month since i see you're not a patreon member, he updates the free public demo usually the last day of a month after other month, the next public demo update won't be until the end of october

Does Patreon work with prepaid cards? You could buy one at the supermarket with cash and then use it until it runs out.

Not a Patreon card--I mean: at least around here, the drug stores and supermarkets sell Visa and Mastercard "Gift Cards" that work *anywhere* online like generic debit cards but don't require a bank account--instead you pay all the money up front, and it works until that money runs out.

Certain things play a factor in this. Who's route it is and what choices you make will influence this a some point.

Hey Dyne just wanted to say I love this so far, it's the first thing on Patreon I've ever backed because it's just so good lol The main thing I wanted to ask though what is your plan for distributing the full game when it is completed for the $10 a month pledgers, also are you planning to release via a 3rd party retailer such as Steam or something similar?

Hi there! I have to say, ever since I have played the novel, I have become deeply attached to these wonderful characters and the game has emotionally hit in so many ways close to home. I truly want this to succeed which is why I became a Patreon supporter! I do have a question: I saw your response to the question about fan art and that it was OK as long as they shared it with you and gave credit. What about fan fiction? Is that OK? (continued)

I'm asking about the fan fiction because to keep up with the game, I started to make a guide for the characters. It started out with the bios from the game (what we knew for sure) and then I added what I felt were safe guesses based on in game dialogue. I started to speculate more about the town and really fleshed out my MC. By the time it was done, it turned into a full on character guide.

If fanfiction is okay, would you be willing to take a peek at the guide and see what you think? Nothing in it is spoiler-y so you'd not be spoiling anything but if I'm going to write any kind of fiction, I'd like the original creator to approve of at least say "hey you are wrong about this guys height" or "the town doesn't have that" to be sure I'm sticking close to the spirit of the original novel. Thanks! sorry for the long posts.
