Update 1.19 with Gallery (Patreon)

Hey guys! Some new things I'm trying out in this update, so time to get to it and see what's in there! The music is still... mostly there. I'd edited out a bunch of it, and I appreciate the support and messages I've gotten about it. I have some ideas that I'll be rolling with, so in the meantime, bare with me!

~Chester Day 11 - Here's where I added in some new stuff. You'll find a point where the game asks you to type in words. Your input will determine the kind of response you get, and there is a variety of things that can be typed in, so experiment a little. If you come across a word you think should be there, let me know! I asked a few people how they'd respond in that situation, and added in some interesting choices. I am setting up for some fun in his next couple of updates, and I'm really looking forward to working on that. This update ended up being a loooot longer for Chester than I meant for it to be also. It was supposed to be more filler for him, but I got a little carried away with it.


~Darius Day 4 - Some of you might be expecting someone other than Darius to get an update this time around, but people seemed to enjoy where he was going, so I decided to update him again. That, and he was an update behind Dozer even. You get to see a little more into Darius, but he's still holding on to that initial image he's set up for you.


~Andrew Sprite! We finally have Chester's brother added in this time around. I am aware of his design too~


~Patron Sprite added! I also added in a Patron's sprite, but I'll leave that surprise for you guys to stumble across. Shouldn't be too hard to find. I know that reward has been gone for a couple of months, but I've had a couple patron's sprites completed, and I've just been waiting for their spots to implement them.


~Sorry to you guys that want everything in the Image Gallery, also! Day 8 with Chester has been updated slightly, and it includes a certain image for Andrew there.


IMPORTANT INFO FOR NEW PATRONS


Keep in mind, if you find in crashes or bugs, let me know! If it crashes, try starting your file over (fresh start) and see if it crashes again at the same point. If so, snag a screenshot and send it my way! Or, copy the text and send me a message. That always helps me out, as I do miss things from time to time when checking for these errors. And so you don't have to read ALLLLL the text again, don't forget, you can go into Preference and set the Skip Text message to ALL. From there, just hold down CTRL to skip text faster.


Thanks to all of my supporters and to all the new people (52 new people last month!?)! I reached a new Milestone this month, and that's a huge step forward. Once the end of the month rolls around, we'll see if that sticks of not. I'm feeling confident it's gonna stay that way. It means to much to me that I have this much support on the project! Welp, had a small issue of data not transferring into this update properly and lost all my saves, but didn't mind too much restarting all of the routes, went fairly quickly. Hopefully that was just on my end and doesn't adversely affect others the same way. Chester's route is getting more intersting and the fill in the blank part was cool, "Why would I need that?" well I could give you a couple of possible reasons but whatever (the MC has a limited imagination about some things) Darius is more complex by far than he seems at a glance and has very quickly become my favorite character so looking forward to seeing what's coming next.

You weren't the only one that had that issue, and I have no idea why it affects some, but not everyone. Hehe, I'm gonna see if I could randomize his replies so it's not all the same if you put in a word I didn't use. Annnd, I'm glad to hear that about Darius! There is more than meets the eye with him!

Random responses sounds interesting. I'm sure a few things I typed in could merit responses like "Are you insane?" or "I don't think that's legal." things of that nature. On a more serious note I've always been a proponent of the expression "it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it" so some things I would personally take on a weekend trip would include: a flashlight, spare batteries, umbrella/raincoat, and since they are going to the mountains where it's bound to be cooler, a light jacket/sweater mostly because you never know what might happen. Also if you could, I'm having a bit of difficulty with two of the images in the gallery. Specifically 'Coach' 2nd row 3rd from the right, and 'Others' 2nd row 2nd from right. Any help is appreciated.

I had read your message on my phone, and forgot to reply when I got back to my computer (I couldn't remember where it was posted >.>). I'll take those ideas into consideration too, since they hold good merit in the situation! Thanks for the ideas. As for the images.. You know, I think I took that one out from Coach. I just went through my entire script trying to find it, and I can't find it anywhere. Perhaps I have a typo somewhere.. I gotta figure that out! It's supposed to be Coach Grifter wearing just his pair of pants with no shirt or anything. As for Others... That one -is- an error. Looks like I left out a comma. There's supposed to be an image of Andrew there and the image of Tai there. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!
