If you liked the sampling on this album you should definitely listen to Paul's Boutique by the Beastie Boys. It came out the same year and features a huge number of samples from a variety of genres.

If you liked the production overall on this, Prince Paul was at the helm. Like I said before, this coming Spooky October's gotta be Gravediggaz. That was also his baby, with RZA. It's just crazy. I think you'd love it. The energy, the "horrorcore", something different fo sho!

I get why u picked this album and Tha Carter. I just think you would've enjoyed Stakes is High and Tha Carter 3 much better. But, whatever, rock on!

you never listening to Funkadelic is good to know, because i highly HIGHLY recommend that you listen to their album Maggot Brain before you ever do Gambino's Awaken My Love. I think its really important lol

You would definitely be surprised by a Maggot Brain listen - wild album, and much different than a track like Knee Deep (which was sampled for Eye Know)
