Hi Bob, I have a really important request. I know when you listened to Icedancer by Bladee you didn't really like it that much, but I feel like you should give another album of his a chance. Icedancer is a mixtape and is probably his least lyrically focused project. Most of his other albums are quite introspective and deeper lyrically. I believe you would really enjoy them or at least find them and the unique sounds of them really interesting to listen to. Personally for you, I would recommend either Cold Visions, his newest album from this year. It's a long album but has a super wide range of sounds and topics that don't let it get boring or repetitive while also having a very interesting concept that is brought up throughout the whole project that I find really fascinating to follow through the lyrics. I think it's a great introduction to his variety of sounds and lyrical topics. Another album I recommend is Eversince from 2016. It was his first real album and has arguably the best, most interesting and unique production and sound on any Bladee album. The beats are dark and heavy which matches the lyrical themes really well, being one of his more melancholy and depressing albums. However there are a few songs with a lighter tone that help keep it fresh. It is more similar to Icedancer than cold visions is so if you want to differentiate the Bladee experience it might not be the best choose, but it's a modern underground rap classic that does a fantastic job at capturing a specific mood and feeling through an entire album. Other albums that I think would be great to listen to are The fool, a more electronic inspired album with unique synth patterns and sounds and a very interesting lyrical style, focusing heavily on religion, positivity and inspiration. Thematically it is the complete opposite of Icedancer, almost having an uplifting, happy effect. I also recommend Exeter, his most stripped down and minimalistic project. If you were a fan of E by Ecco2k, listening to Crest might be good as it's a collab album between bladee and Ecco. I'm personally a big fan of the mixtape Working On Dying but it may not be something you would enjoy as much as the others, and the same goes for Gluee, which is his first real project and therefore is very raw and experimental. I hope you read this and hopefully decide to give Bladee another chance and make another video on him as I believe he is a very talented artist and Icedancer may not showcase his lyrical and artistic abilities as well as his other projects might. If you are looking for the most enjoyable music then I would definitely go for Cold Visions or The Fool, however if you would like some deeper more introspective songs then I'd recommend Crest, Exeter or even 333, which I have yet to mention. It's a very soft and delicate album with heavy spiritual themes. I would really appreciate if you read this essay on Bladee and decide to make another video. As a big Bladee fan I would be really happy to hear you enjoy a Bladee album😄😄😄 Thanks, bye😋
