Tutorial Addendum - Dwight (Patreon)

Truthfully, he was just adjusting to life indoors with three legs, I think. He hasn't had these issues since early on, as I'm sure Newt would be happy to know....since as of a few days ago, he is Newt's cat!
For those who may remember, just before the pandemic and just before development on the animated film started, I was visited upon by a feral cat with a severely broken and dislocated leg. I couldn't TNR him like I had with other ferals who'd come my way, so I set about seeing if he could be socialized. He spent a month hiding under a clawfoot tub in my bathroom while I fretted about whether or not I was doing the right thing. Then, as if a switch went off, he turned full baby.
I'm a bit broken up about having to say goodbye - he's been a very dear companion over the past couple of rather difficult years - but it's better for him to not be surrounded by multiple other cats (my household was already at max cat-pacity when he arrived) and he's in very good hands with Newt. He's taking some time adjusting to his new circumstances, but I think he'll settle in nicely given some time.
Maybe send some good vibes his way?
